YAHOO REBRAND

Yahoo, an early internet pioneer, was at a crossroads, facing decline and ownership changes. While still widely recognized, it had lost relevance in an increasingly competitive landscape.

STRAYER REBRAND

Strayer University has a long legacy of serving working adult learners. While widely recognized, the brand needed to modernize. Following the 2018 merger with Capella University to form Strategic Education, Inc., there was a need to differentiate the two universities while enabling their brands to work cohesively.

CAPELLA REBRANDS

Capella University has undergone two brand evolutions in recent years. The first, in parallel with Strayer University, established distinct yet complementary identities. The second repositioned Capella into a more performance-driven category.

WORKFORCE EDGE REBRAND

Workforce Edge, SEI’s B2B arm, sought external agency support for a brand refresh. I advocated for our internal team to lead the work, despite initial skepticism.

YouTube Videos

Content depth is central to Capella’s growth strategy. Long-form YouTube video was identified as a key channel to build evergreen content, strengthen organic discovery and extend campaign storytelling.

COMMENCEMENT

Capella’s twice-annual commencement ceremonies represent one of the university’s most meaningful brand moments, celebrating thousands of graduates and their families.
